LATENCY’s name is unusually suited to a band: it represents a sound that may arrive late, but is eventually heard. That idea gives the project an identity built less around immediacy and more around persistence.
The project girl band under Oddinary Records debuted on January 8, 2026 with “It Was Love.” Following Hyunjin’s departure for health reasons in May 2026, the current lineup is Heeyeon, ZZONE, Haeun, and Semi. The members bring together backgrounds that include idol activity as well as musicianship — notably guitarist Heeyeon, who was already known online for guitar performances before joining the band.
