82MAJOR is a six-member boy group under Great M Entertainment. The group combines South Korea’s international dialing code, 82, with the word “MAJOR,” expressing their ambition to become a major act beginning in Korea and eventually reaching audiences around the world. They officially debuted on October 11, 2023 with the single album ON.
The members are Seongil, Yechan, Seongmo, Seongbin, Seokjoon, and Dogyun. 82MAJOR has developed a performance style rooted heavily in hip-hop, rap, and rhythm-driven production, with a rougher and less polished-down image than many mainstream idol groups.
