The unusual name says a lot about ChRocktikal before the music even starts. ChRocktikal — also stylized CRTK — combines “chrome,” “rock,” and the Korean word kal (칼), meaning sword. Chrome represents a metallic and bold character, rock represents the music they want to pursue, and the blade gives the name its sharper edge. The four-member co-ed band under Dreamcatcher Company brings together Lee Siyeon on vocals, Lee Wonseok on guitar, Lee Junyoung on bass, and Je Gwanwoo on drums. Siyeon is also known as a member of Dreamcatcher and works as a producer within ChRocktikal alongside Wonseok. Rather than beginning with a single, ChRocktikal made an unusually substantial debut on January 15, 2026 with their first full-length album, We break, you awake.
