Formed from the finalists of STEAL HEART CLUB, hrtz.wav is a five-member global boy band under Kakao Entertainment. Youn Youngjun, Riaan, Dane, Keiten, and hagiwa officially debuted on April 8, 2026 with The First Wave.
The unusual spelling is deliberate. “hrtz” connects heart, soul and the frequency of sound, while “.wav” references the uncompressed audio format and the idea of waves. Together, the name represents a new wave of band music reflecting youth — music capable of carrying one person’s frequency toward another.
