Effie (에피) is an independent South Korean singer and rapper associated with the country’s underground hyperpop and rap scene. Confirmed through her official effi3e link hub and YouTube channel, she began building an audience through SoundCloud before releasing the 2021 EP Neon Genesis. Her music moves between cloud-rap roots, hyperpop production, rap, and pop songwriting, often shifting naturally between Korean and English. Her 2025 release E—made closely with producer kimj—brought a sharper, club-ready sound that she has described as “kawaii drill.” Tracks such as “down,” “코카콜라 (coca-cola),” “maybe baby,” and “MAKGEOLLI BANGER” foreground her flexible vocal delivery, catchy melodies, and intentionally unpolished digital texture. Effie also makes her own videos, carrying that DIY, everyday-life perspective from her recordings into her visual work. She followed E with the 2025 EP pullup to busan 4 morE hypEr summEr it’s gonna bE a fuckin moviE and continued releasing new music in 2026.
