H//PE Princess was born through Mnet’s survival program Unpretty Rapstar: HIP POP Princess. The seven-member Korean-Japanese group — Coco, YSY, Yuju, Doi, Rino, Niko, and Sujin — debuted simultaneously in Korea and Japan on May 27, 2026 with the mini album 17.7. Their name expresses an ambition to become a leading hip-hop girl group capable of exciting audiences around the world. Rather than fitting neatly into one genre, H//PE Princess is presented as a self-producing “hip-pop” group drawing from hip-hop, K-pop and J-pop.
